Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO), the largest provider of intercity bus transportation in the kingdom, needed a solution to reduce wait times and free up employees for customers with complex travel needs. The self-service kiosk ticketing solution allows passengers to buy tickets at the kiosk or pick up tickets that were purchased online.
ROLE: This application was truly built from the ground up. As lead UI/UX Designer, I gathered business requirements from the client though on-site discovery sessions and, after thoughtfully conceptualizing the overall experience, created wireframes, English and Arabic user interface designs, and instructional animations. I then designed the tickets, built HTML/CSS templates, and worked closely with team developers to keep the integrity of the experience through completion. This innovative project led to a global change in the way travel needs were met in Saudi public transportation.
